The Art of Aligned Leadership & Personal Growth

What does Harmony House Communications mean by 'Divine' and 'Align'?

In the context of the HHC definition of Divine Align, these words symbolize a deeply personal and transformational human experience.  Experiences where we are always learning, growing, exploring, discovering, and innovating through authentic connections with ourselves and others.  Here are our definitions of the two words separately:

Divine

The experience of alignment with purpose, flow, and intuition; a sense of wholeness, creativity, and connection beyond the thinking mind. It represents a deep alignment with self, leadership, and impact—leading from a place of authenticity and inner wisdom.

According to Oxford Languages; Divine is defined as “excellent, delightful, or beyond human understanding”.

Parker J. Palmer (Let Your Life Speak) suggests that, “The divine is found not in the extraordinary, but in the deeply authentic alignment of one’s soul and work.”

Align

The act of bringing values, actions, and intentions into harmony. Alignment in leadership means making choices that are true to who you are and what you stand for—ensuring that your external work reflects your internal purpose.

Merriam-Webster defines Align as “to bring into proper position or agreement,”

Leadership expert Jim Collins (Good to Great) describes great leadership as, “Not about control but alignment—aligning vision, values, and action for sustained excellence.”

About me

Why I Created Divine Align, the Blog

For years, I’ve been deeply immersed in leadership, coaching, and personal growth.

I’ve formally studied unconscious bias, organizational leadership, and resilience, and what struck me most was that traditional leadership models often miss something crucial

the need for alignment, reflection, and a leadership style that evolves naturally over time.

I noticed a disconnect between all that we know about human growth and development, and how we approach leadership.

We push ourselves to be productive year-round,

without honoring the natural rhythms of

human growth, renewal, action, and rest.

We set ambitious goals but rarely pause to ask:

Do these goals align with who I am becoming?

And so, I created Divine Align as a leadership framework that embraces the seasons of change, one that allows us to

grow courageously

reflect deeply

and lead with both wisdom and authenticity.

Recognizing that growth is not linear, it is cyclical and exponential—Divine Align is about learning to trust the process. The most effective leaders are those who know how to go with the flow, knowing when to act boldly and when to pause and realign.

This blog is an extension of that philosophy—a space to explore seasonal leadership insights, self-reflection, and actionable strategies to inspire one another to lead with greater clarity and purpose.

This blog is an invitation to join me in this journey of embracing aligned leadership—one season at a time!

Aligning Leadership with Purpose & Authenticity

Leadership IS personal.  Leadership is about stepping into a personal purpose with clarity, courage, and intention.  That includes a knowledge and awareness of how the seasons of growth, reflection, and transformation shape who we are as human beings.
